Lucy walked, singing as she went, through the tunnels. "Despite the lies that you're making Your love is mine for the taking My love is Just waiting To turn your tears to roses. "Her beautiful burning song was filling the air. "I will be the one that's gonna hold you I will be the one that you run to My love is A burning, consuming fire. " Her eyes glowed red when she said the word fire. "No! You'll never be alone When darkness comes I'll light the night with stars Hear my whispers in the dark. " She glanced around. What a beautiful place. She studied the walls. The gems sparkled like stars. "No! You'll never be alone When darkness comes you know I'm never far Hear my whispers in the dark. " She could listen to her sweet song nicely here. The walls were amplifying it perfectly just sending it straight back, but much louder. "You feel so lonely and ragged You lay here broken and naked My love is Just waiting To clothe you in crimson roses! " No she didn't care all that much. Not anymore. She was just feeling numb. "I will be the one that's gonna find you I will be the one that's gonna guide you~~ My love is A burning, consuming fire" She smiled in a way that could be considered scary. A burning, consuming fire, a good description of her. As it got darker she allowed her hands to control her element. They burst into flames but she didn't burn. Her long purple hair dragged across the floor.

Altair cocked his head as he watched her from the shadows. He shook his head, hood covering his features. He didn't really understand what was so great about singing, all this...happiness. He shook his head once more, before throwing his cape behind him, and took a step forward. Yes, it was true he was an assassin, but he didn't go around killing people for the fun of it....Although he really could. There was nothing wrong with it. He was, after all, the god of death. He began to whistle lightly to himself, and then suddenly disappeared, and dropped down in front of her seconds later. Altair looked at her, a smirk on his face, though you couldn't really see it. So, he was somewhat lucky. He nodded softly to her, and said "Who are you?" He was no threat, yet. If needed he would have to use force, but for right now, there was no need for it. He was in a good mood for right now.

Lucy walked for a bit sensing she was being followed by something. She couldn't exactly see well in this dark. Her burning hands lit her way. "Despite the lies that you're making " Then she heard a faint whistling. The lyrics shot through her head. Whispers in the dark... She was surprised by a dark figure apparently a man who popped up in front of her. She smirked, "I should be asking that question don't you think?" a light laugh erupted from her throat. The numb feeling was there, burning she wasn't happy at all when she laughed. "Lucy Lionell." She continued singing. "Your love is mine for the taking My love is Just waiting To turn your tears to roses " When you listened to the actual words she was flowing out they didn't seem so optimistic... "I will be the one that's gonna hold you I will be the one that you run to My love is A burning, consuming fire " She paused and cocked her head to the side. She folded her slim arms against her chest. "Can I just call you stalker?" Sarcasm rang loud in her voice. She wasn't feeling anything but anger and numbness. Her eyes flashed red like a flame. She smirked, the flames slowly creeping up her arms. No sign of pain could be read on her face because there was none. She couldn't stop the creeping flames any longer. Soon they would cover her but she didn't care. It didn't harm her just those around her. "No offense but you might want to take a few steps away, I could burst into flames at anytime." She sighed, that was her problem. Who could she ever keep close if she was going to burn them. Her own sister was at risk...

He smirked softly, and said "No offence, but stalking is in my job discription. You just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not that I'm of any danger." He shook his head, his large belt set around his waist, filled with knives, and what not. He grinned softly, though it was hidden by the shadow of the hood. "Burst, if you may. I really don't care, only because I am fire elmental also. it wouldn't hurt me. And, to top it off, I have problems with controling my element, so. Either way." He crossed his arms against his chest defiantly, before shaking his head once again. "I suppose you want to know my name. All you really need to know is that I am mainly known as the Assassin. Nothing more, nothing less. To tell you my name would be to sell my fate. Now, do you have any problems with that, or would you rather me tell you my name?" He asked, clearly taunting her. He didn't really care if she burst into flames. It just gave him an excuse to fight back. Although, he would never attack a lady first. Twas not the way of the Creed.

Lucy smirked. "I think I liked stalker more... Whatever it really is your burn you can stay put if you want. " She sighed, the numb feeling taking away her frustrations. Was this the way emo people felt? The flames started receding to her surprise. "Not that I really care right now. So mister hoody, why you following me? You interested on stalking teenage girls or something? Just joking. But If you are there is this pool I know where a bunch of girls meet up." She smirked, obviously she was still hoking around. No matter how crude her jokes got. "Okay, seriously what do you want? Or are you just one of those bad boys that just walks around in dark places trying to scare people." Okay she wasn't being so serious. She was feeling numb witch really made her act like a B. "Sorry, I'm a little ticked off at the moment. I'll do my best to ditch the attitude. Not that I care what they think." She was mentally cussing out her dead parents at that point. She stood there with a dark smirk. Her finger tips the only burning part at this time.

Altair smirked softly, and said "No, I am not one of those people who go around following teenage girls. I'm one of those people who follows every one I see, is that a problem?" He asked, smirking softly. "Mr. Hoody? That's a new one. Never been called that before, but I suppose theres a first time for everything, eh?" He shook his head, chuckling softly to himself. He began to flick that wrist blade in and out, just one of his habits he has. The flame that flicked around him started to die out some, but it was always there, no matter what he did. Even if he didn't want it there. Like he had said, he had horrible control over it. "Ditch the attitude, huh? Naw, there's no need for that. I've got the same one, and there ain't no way I'm ditching it." He shrugged softly, pulling his cape over his left arm.

"Ok then mystery... I would find it hard to ditch this anyway. Hey, but no complaining when I act like a B~~..." Lucy trailed off tilting her head and smirking. Her arms fell to her side, then went one to cover one eye and a portion of her face. "What the heck am I saying?" Her dark smile was gone, the pain was on her face. She started walking around the dark figure. She turned her head, looking over her shoulder. "You coming Assassin?" She smirked, the numb feeling had taken over the pain again.

He shook his head, smirking softly to himself. He glanced over his shoulder once again, but didn't really say anything yet. He looked back into the darkness from whince he came, and then said "I suppose so." His voice wasn't very much audible as he turned around, but followed her somewhat anyways. He shook his head, and then jumped into the shelter of the shadows. "From here, of course." He chuckled softly, shaking his head.

Lucy continued walking, thinking to herself. What a stalker... She was singing again. The same song. Her burning song, it echoed down the tunnel. He had disappeared. She was in the dark alone again, but she that he was still around. Her hands were in flames, and now the fire was spreading fast. She remembered the pain of these flames. She could feel them in her sleep. The burning never harmed her but she felt it in her sleep. Maybe that was why her parents hated her? Who would want to hear screams all night? Well it didn't matter cause she hated them to. She had played that game and was content. She didn't even have to miss them... "Hey assassin? Ever get sick of hiding? How do have friends when you walk in the shadows and hide your face? " She smirked, looking into the darkness in all directions. The flames licking at her arms.

He smirked softly, and said "I don't recall ever saying I ever had friends." He shrugged lightly, stepping out of the darkness. "If people saw my face, it'd mean they'd actually know what I look like. If that happens then...I'm as good as hanged." He shrugged, watching the flames as they licked across the floor. He tilted his head to the side, and shook his head.

She kept walking, "Would you hang for love? I sure wish I did..." She remembered those days. They were her worst and her best. They had left her in pieces. She had lost it, burst into flames after that. Was it heartbreak that made her flames uncontrollable. . She didn't want them. She had someone to protect she couldn't leave to follow. It was her parents fault, she couldn't stand them. Her sister was her's alone now. She would be the child, the mother, the sister, the holder, the protector, and anything she needed to be. But her parents were dead now. Not that either she nor her sister cared anymore. She stood there in flames now. She yelled in frustration and the flames were gone then. The floor was still in flames now... "I hate this."

When she had said "Not even for love...." His eyes closed quickly, pain seeming to sweep over his form. Love is what had caused her to die. He loved her, and he cared too much about her to actually let her get too close to him. Finally, the pain was too much, and she had jumped off the bridge, mentally. Now, not even he could save her. His eyes flashed open as she yelled, still standing in his same spot. He growled lightly to himself, and said "No, not even for love." He would never love someone again, for fear they would jumped off the deep end in their minds. He hissed softly to himself, those words slowly seeping into his mind "Not even for love? Not even for love? Not even for love?" They bounced around his head like a bullet bouncing off of a hard material. He growled once again, eyes traveling to the ground.

Her flames went out when he spoke to her. She was in the pitch black. She fell on her knees then sat down. The cold ground was hard, not comforting in a way. "I would die for it... Love is something I would do anything for if I found it. " she punched the ground with a fist. Now she knew what it was like to miss someone but she didn't have the chance to take it back. She was singing again. A totally different song, "Like a rush on the beach, At the end of the day, When the sand is going to be cold under your way. And you think, everything's lost in the waves. Like a spark in your eyes, your love will be mine, When the sky is going to be light and shine, you take my hands. And I think time will give me one more chance. Do you remember a kiss under the moonlight, When it was summer, It was love at first sight. Can you remember? Cause I feel the same now, Until the winter, Will see blooming this love " she stood back up her eyes glowed red, she raised her hand and an orb of fire sat in it. She looked around, "You know hoody boy, love's the only thing that fights the darkness. It's a lot like a fire." She threw the orb of fire at the ground, a burst of light , then pitch black again.

He watched her for a moment, listening to the words of the song. Yes, he fricken remembered. He remembered everything. God. And now, look where it landed her. "For some, yes. For others, they weren't meant to love anyone. They just end up hurting the ones they love the most, hurting the ones they never wanted to see hurt. They just never know what happened to the one that they could have said they loved." Each word that slipped from his mouth was indeed emotionless. He had learned how to hid his emotions. Almost as how he had learned how to concel his identy. The hood. A mask. He masked his feelings. And no one ever knew what he was thinking. "So, that battle for me, has been lost. I figure I'm lost in the dark then. There's nothing you can do." He finally added, shaking his head with disgust as himself. Geez, what was going on with him?

She found her flame again. The orb lit part of the tunnel, she glared in the direction she had heard his voice come from. "Well then shut the hell up! Stop with your stupid Blah, Blah, Blah and get your but back on the right path. Hasn't anyone told you what to do in that situation. Hug a tree someone'll come around!" Yeah the numb was gone, her nice side was actually trying to show through. She was to mad to be as nice as she was on the inside. Her personal shield was anger. She would love to keep it that way but she knew it was bad. "Why care if your lost in the dark? Just keep waiting, the light'll come around. So stop with the blah blah blah. I swear if you don't smile in the next! You know what if I see you again and you don't smile I swear I'll tickle you!" She smirked then laughed, rolling over like it was some great joke. She was really wondering what kind of fight it would be if she tried to tickle an assassin. "You know what?! I'm a crazy Bitch!" She was laughing it up now. Crazy sounded perfect at the moment. Had she gone hysteric or something? Defiantly! "Don't you hate it when they say being crazy is a bad thing? It's great!" She stood up smiling darkly. Still giggling. She didn't give a care what anyone said or thought. Being angry at the world was her shield. She was happy like that.

He took a deep breath, fighting the urge to just blow up on her. "Tickle me? Come near me and it won't turn out for either of us. I'm sorry for being the fricken way I am. Get over it. I don't wait for light, It's not in my nature to do that. So, just in case your wondering, I suppose I'm just going to..." He paused, glaring into the darkness. Someone else was here. He hissed softly, backing away from where he thought they were. "Just forget it okay? I'll shut up if you just walk that way."

She smirked, "It was supposed to be my friendly threat come on give me a break!" She stood up and put her hands on her hips. "Why should I walk that way? I don wanna! If your trying to get rid of me your gonna have ta..." She heard the sound of feet and realized he was probably being serious. She decided to grow up for a little bit and be nice and listen. "Fine whatever." She walked the way he had told her to.

As she walked her temper cooled off. As she walked the little angel on her shoulder started to fend off the devil on the other shoulder. In other words she had a mood swing. Her nice side flashed to the rescue. She let the nice, kind, funny, creative, and understanding person she really was come back. Her depression faded away. "I'm sorry, I was being a jerk wasn't I?" Her sweet voice came out. She sounded like a different person. Her eyes no longer glowed red but were a deep unusual purple.

"Eh....I wasn't being the nicest of people either, but then again, can you blame me?" He shook his head, manuvering them out of dangers way. "What I'm saying is, I'm sorry for being a jerk also. It's fine, it happens to the best of us." He moved into the shadows, trying to figure out what was following them. "Do you know of anyone that would be trying to...I don't know....kill you? Perhaps you can narrow it down, because I have several people who wants to kill me, but none are foolish enough to follow me into a set of caves." That would be suicide if they did something like that. He knew these caves better than anyone ever could, having done his training in here ever since he had been four years old. The training was actually quite brutal. But let's not go into that detail, for that is for another story.

Lucy bit her lip thinking. "Well I don't know if my parents were so stupid to get into trouble but they did die recently. They were trouble makers I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to kill them, I did at times. I got a little sister that might have wanted to follow me. I left her with my aunt a few miles away its highly a doubt she would've come in here... She is scared of the dark after all. I guess I wouldn't know..." she had rambled happily. Just talkling for the sake of filling the silence.

Altair grinned softly, and said "This is coming from the only insane one around here." He teased lightly, flicking his wrist blade out, chuckling ever so softly. He was only kidding. She had to know that. And if not, oh well.
