Okay, I have a more solid idea about all the recent ideas.
UPDATED!
Name: The Virus
Basic Idea: Starts as one person infected, then gradually spreads.
Victim's Symptoms before turned: Intense hunger for something which they cannot name or understand, fever and pain in head as a result of the imflamation of the brain, Coughing up blood and bloody eyes, and (usually occors within an hour to a half hour before turning), sudden and brief involuntary attacks onto the nearest blood source possible, even if that someone is a loved one. Takes about 3-4 hours to turn from the moment of the bite. The bite is is understandably painful, but the actual turning itself is like hell on earth.
Victims charactoristics after turned: The victim is basically a vampire. They feed frequantly on blood-- anything else they can no longer digest and will immediately vomit back up. Inscisors and fingernails/front paw claws grow so sharp they can easily pierce thick fleash when hungry (all the rest of the time they have normal teeth and nails.). They experience an intense thirst for blood. A sharp wooden stick or a wooden stake will parylize the victim if stabbed in the chest, but level and parilysis depends on how close the stake got to the heart (ex, they can still talk if stabbed somewhere near the lung, or movements are dramatically slowed if hit in the side of the chest. Cannot move what-so-ever if the stake hits the heart). Eyes glow the color of their personality (some refuse to hurt others and go for animals or donanted blood, while others readily enjoy killing their own kind) when they are hungry (well.. thirsty.). Only way to kill the victim is to either chop their head off or burn them to death. There is, however, another method. If the victim is sliced and bleeds too much before they heal, they will die. They feel weak if they loose 2 pints, loose consciousness if they loose three, and die when they only have a half-pint left. Any other method they will simply heal from. What would normally take a human a month to heal, it takes only 3-4 days for them. They cannot replenish blood on their own, so they must feed to regain lost blood. When inviral blood enters their system, it is infected as well and mutates into their own blood and gives the drinker a full feeling as well as the energy accompanied with it. Senses are hightened tenfold. When they aren't hungry or angry, they look fairly normal exept for their scent. Only other victims cal tell if they are also infected (well, before it is too late or they reveal themselves to another). As for sunlight, the longer they are exposed to direct sunlight the worser they feel. At some point they collapse and eventually die, depending on how hot it is, how direct the sunlight is, and how thirsty the victim is. And, no, they dont sparkle in the sun or are repelled by garlic, holy water, or crosses. Regardless of their original element, they enjoy cold places. Fire vampires are rare, They are not immortal, but seem to have a bit longer life span than humans.
thats all i got so far. feel free to correct and stuff. last updated on May 7th.
